About Randy Markey
Randy Markey received a Bachelors in Sociology from Brandeis University and a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College. He has advanced training from the Jean Baker Miller Training Institute in Relational Cultural Theory, where he wrote a paper on Men in Relationships.
Randy was the first man admitted to study as an Advanced Practitioner in what had been an all female Program. His studies were under the supervision of Judith Jordan PhD, author of "Women’s Growth in Connection". Relational Cultural Theory, the basis of the paper and the ongoing work with couples, is an approach to therapy which is based on the notion that all growth begins with connection.
For some people, it is important to know that clients and colleagues approve of my work. Here are some of the testimonials people have offered about Randy and his work.
